Alan Robbins has had a distinguished thirty-year banking career holding senior management positions and serving on the boards of major financial institutions and industry trade organizations. He is a past president of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Florida and a recipient of its Brown L. Whatley Award for meritorious services to Florida’s mortgage banking industry. As an advocate for fair lending initiatives, he has been recognized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development for his contributions to the nation’s housing industry and has also been a member of Virginia’s Loudoun County Housing Advisory Board.

Robbins served as marketing and membership director of the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of the Community Associations Institute, where he led the marketing and membership efforts for the association in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Colombia, as it provided services to the chapter’s 2,500 members, including professional community association managers and community volunteers from more than 800 associations representing 260,000 households.

Mr. Robbins is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, where he received his Master’s in Business Administration degree in Real Estate Development and Management. He has served on the boards of small and large-scale homeowners associations and provided strategic planning consulting services and financial guidance to community associations, real estate developers, and property management companies in Florida and Virginia. His extensive background has provided him with unique perspectives that enable him to pave the way to effective board governance, successful associations, and stronger communities.
